    To add further profit is calculated after all costs and expenses have been taken. So the import costs etc are counted before profit and any tax liability calculated.

    I go every Sunday on the look out for designer clothes and furniture that are going cheap that i can sell on eBay. I would go on gumtree and see what items are selling/being listed and what items are not on gumtree currently then go searching for them items at the boot sale to list on gumtree or ebay for a profit

    This really interested me - but seems like a really slow process, potentially for quite little payoff. Is that the case? How do you get on with it?
