Should I be cautious? Managed to get 2 basic accounts online!

Yesterday I started a trial for checking my credit report and was about to clean up stuff, however I decided to try and apply for basic accounts on several banks websites.
Refused for most, however I have just tried RBS and been excepted and been automatically given a sort code and account number, and whilst just checking my email I received a response from Lloyds bank saying they had approved my application with a sort code and account number!
I was discharged from bankruptcy on the 25th April and my main previous debt was with Lloyds and my last current account was with RBS....
Should I be worried that they might take money?

It would be illegal for them to take your money, as any debts you had with them were legally settled as part of your bankruptcy.
If your not desperate to use these accounts right now, I'd wait until your credit files have been updated, as the banks will have updated their records and closed off any accounts in debt.0 -
agree it is illegal (off setting) but sometimes banks will try & chance their arm...I had a hell of a time with barclays a few years ago taking money from a basic account to offset what I owed in bankruptcy..agree with mwarby if the accs are not important for now play wait & seeNot quite a newbie as you think
