I guess that reinforces my point: the British have never voted for a hard left PM.

Yes, in terms of a full-blooded ideologically committed socialist, I don't believe they have.

Ramsay MacDonald (He Who Must Not Be Named) - No
    Clement Attlee - Not really
Harold Wilson - No. Despite his early reputation as Nye's little dog.
Tony Blair - Are you joking?
    Gordon Brown - see above.

    I think that's the lot.

government publishes detail revenue and spending forecast...

    Indeed it does.

But then we are talking about someone who was complaining in another thread about there being no migration stats for Scotland. I found some in five seconds. :)

I knew that. Do you think Alex Salmond really had no designs on being the Westminster leader?

Yes, I believe he has no designs on the position and is happy to work along with the incumbent SNP leader at Westminster for the last 8 years

Is there no potential for someone who has managed to win a parliamentary seat getting just a little bit resentful at having their strings pulled by a distant puppet mistress?

    I don't believe so.
You must have missed the link I gave previously where Salmond sought approval from Nicola Sturgeon before going for First minister 11 years ago.

He has also seen how the party has galvanised and grown, as has the party membership since Nicola took the helm.

Incidentally, I don't believe any of the MP's consider Nicola Sturgeon as a puppet mistress, nor they as simple puppets

We all know the SNP have a single end game in mind and that's to progress towards Scottish independence but to expect 5 years of harmony and agreement about how that is best achieved is naive.

    Let's see shall we.
You may be badly tarnished with how Westminster parties operate ;)

    You found Nett migration stats.
The same stats I posted a graph for earlier.
You did not find migration stats that was requested.

The attention to detail is appalling ;)

Yes, but you didn't understand it.;)

And apparently it's beyond your capabilities to find data on government spending.:rotfl:

    Seriously..........

You pull up the link to the Nett migration webpage that I posted a graph about and was highlighting I would have preferred to see actual migration statistics (not nett).

You then spuriously link this to not finding comprehensive spending figures in party manifesto's, which has no correlation to migration and say I don't understand it.

    Thanks for your contribution

It's not beyond my capabilities to find out how much has been spent.
what I had wished for was a clear economic plan which could be scrutinised

Here's the Conservative manifesto, and whilst there is figures dotted throughout, I don't believe it is a Clear Economic Plan as outlined in the second line of the manifesto.

I would have preferred to see an Revenue and Expenditure column, totaling up what they expect to take in and where they plan to spend it so we can clearly see where they expect to reduce the deficit by £33 Billion per year.

None of the parties have that, but wouldn't it be great for the standard person to digest and understand the differences between the parties.

There should be a 'properly costed' tick on the ballot paper for parties who have a proper business plan and a 'possibly winging it' wealth warning for those that don't.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.
