So, today I finished reading the amazing debt free diary of skinnylatte and felt really inspired to tackle my debt come hell or high water. I will post my SOA later but know it's a depressing read.
Six years ago I was debt free having been paid redundancy and cleared my credit card, fast forward and I am about £22,000 in debt!!! There are nights it keeps me awake and I think how did it end up like this??? The answer is, I spent money on CC on stuff I didn't need!!! There is no-one to blame but me and it's time I manned up and made a real effort to get out of this hole.
Today was ideally meant to be NSD but end of a rubbish week in work meant I went with a colleague to a well known coffee chain and had some hot chocolate. Goodbye £6........
Am in complete awe of all other debt free wannabes, nothing but respect and admiration for some of the ingenuity on the forum. Gonna use that resource to see what I can reduce to debt to between now and Xmas.
Off to bed early and hoping for sleep. Debt free dreams ahoy. RG:wave::wave:
