NHS expenses

This may be a stupid question so sorry in advance..
Any expenses I am reimbursed get paid to me via my pay/salary each month. If I get reimbursed a conference fee and it is paid via my wage at the end of the month, is it taxable?
Reason I'm asking is a conference I'm going to, I can either book it myself and claim back, or the organisation can book it for me (more hassle). I don't want to pay it and then actually not get it all back if tax etc is taken off it..
Thanks!!!

No, you don't get taxed on expenses.
