Would creditors allow for private health insurance in DMP?

Options
My ma has multiple health problems and is disabled by them, all starting with a heart attack at 40. As I am now that age I am getting concerned and have been offered full family health insurance from work for £90 for a family of 5.

This is great value, but do you know if payplan would allow for it in my dmp budget? As they ask for bank statements can't even really be creative any more . .

I am assuming a dental plan would be OK as you have to pay for all dental care anyway

Thanks

    Hi,
Your expenses are no one else's business but your own, if you think this is nessessary, then do it, your creditors opinions are of no importance.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

I've gone back to Georgia (and paid) several times to beat stupid waiting lists or because the NHS have refused to follow through on what my GP has thought appropriate.

I refuse to post my health history on a public forum, but in both cases above, it's been potentially life threatening if not sorted.

If its that important to you put it in. If they say no then try and sort it out.

Mine comes straight of my earnings so would yours not be the same? As in you could just put your 'take home' pay as your income?

Agreed, if taken from your pay, ignore.

If not and pay plan won't allow it, do the DMP yourself.

Private health insurance is a perfectly justifiable expense. It may come down to how much you’re paying and how much Payplan feel the creditors will find acceptable but I’m sure they will advise you on that.

As the others have said, if you have any issues including it you could try self-negotiating, or maybe try Stepchange instead.
