That sign isn't nearly clear enough.

It should obviously say that beer is not to be consumed anywhere in the known Universe - just to avoid any confusion. :)

Well, I drive a motorbike and yes I always check any repairs which may cause harm if they go faulty. EVERY SINGLE ONE!

Haha you remind me of a child. They laugh at something which isn't overly funny, and do not elaborate on why they are laughing - not that I am bothered! Thumb guy singled out one point in my post, and you have jumped on that too. It is borderline troll behaviour, and serves no useful purpose on the forum.

The point at hand is whether or not you should check a burger if something as bad as a peanut (with an allergy) may be on it. I think that you'd be a fool not to check, just like I check SOME other things (ex motorbike repairs). If you agree or disagree then please elaborate. Also, if you disagree about the motorbike (and/or car) then please elaborate on why checking results in 4 rofl emoticons from a stranger on the internet (I'm curious!).

So after a service you check the oil level and tyre pressures before riding off? Course you do.

No... But if I ask them to do something particularly on top of or instead of something in their usual service process, I would check that.

I trust them to get the basic thing that they do every single day right, but if I've asked them to say clean inside the lights of my car and they have added that on extra, I do check that they've done it.

Similarly, I always order no mayonnaise at McDonalds and check EVERY time before eating it. Even if I'm taking it home to eat, I check in the car before I drive off. It's easy to miss when the process goes through so many people and it's not their usual order.

And the OP will be particularly hard pressed with her claim if she's eating at a restaurant that she believes to be Halal when McDonalds are explicitly telling her it isn't.

Yep. I also check those things twice a week, along with other simple checks. Does that actually bother you? Haha

if the McD's was halal, they wouldn't have had bacon products on sale. My old KFC was halal and did not sell any bacon products. So either the OP went to a non halal McD's (in which case nothing would have been halal except perhaps the fish fillet, that sees to be a popular one with Muslims near where i work) or she went to a halal one that DID sell bacon products. Either way something doesn't add up....

    Kettle, pot, black...

Now that is a childish response if ever I saw one. Do yourself a favour and join the local library and improve your life.

Haha, the irony of your response is not lost on me. (On the whole library topic but do you read those books for children which have large pictures and hardly any text? It might explain why you reply to a post with just 4x rofl emoticons :D)

I love this bacon related macdonalds story! :D

The only thing that lets it down is the woman was called Shanika rather than Tanisha which 90% of American ladies seem to be called.

"Woman found guilty of shooting up McDonald's after bacon was left off her burger twice in 24 hours and faces at least seven years in prison"

" .. Visted McDonald's for a burger but was unhappy to find it did not have bacon on it, as she had requested, police said.
After speaking to the managers, they offered her a free bacon burger on her next visit, police said, and after drinking at clubs with a friend that night, she took them up on their offer.
Sitting in the passenger seat, she headed to the drive-thru at 2am - stopping to chat up a manager at one of the windows before giving him her number, which later helped police track her down.
But when she and her friend received their order, she again had no bacon on her burger."

    Are burgers from Mcdonalds halal?

No it seems they are not................

    lol

That's exactly I was thinking that why OP is complaining at first place but anyway coming back to the original point. Being vegetarian I eat McDonalds veg burger & once they gave me chicken burger instead of veg burger at their branch opposite Shard in London which is always overcrowded. Moreover to this the stupid rude manager refused to replace my order & I had to throw away their chicken burger. I simply wrote a nice message on Facebook to their inbox and explained that how disappointing situation I have faced at their restaurant. Next day they replied and sent a £10 voucher through post. :j
