McDonald's

Options
Basically long story short I am A muslim woman I went through the drive-through at McDonald's and ordered a burger without bacon I confirmed this with the lady I then ate half and it had a bacon in it.
I have rarely eat McDonald's I was just in such a rush after work I thought I would order one.. this is the third time at the same store that this has happened the first two times they have offered me a free meal even though it went through head office I don't want anything I just this is outrageous and if I was allergic to nuts and they had confirmed that they didn't have any nuts in it and went And ate it I could've died.

What to do? Fuming

    Hmmm.

As far as I know, MOST McD burgers DON'T have bacon in anyway (Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with cheese etc), so why not order one of those?? Why order a SPECIAL burger that comes with added bacon and then request for the bacon to be removed?

Seems to me you're looking to cause trouble...

As Nonnatus says most Macdonald burgers don't have bacon anyway, I wonder if the MacDonald's staff are misunderstanding when you ask for no bacon for a burger that doesn't have bacon anyway and thinking you're asking for bacon

What can you do? Complain to the store manager and head office, but removing the ridiculous assertion about nut allergies as it didn't happen. Next time lift the bun to check the contents before taking the first bite - I would have done this anyway if it had been important and that store has made errors in the past.

If this was the third time this has happened one would have thought you'd have checked before biting into the burger.

Personally I find this story hard to believe.

Is it? How interesting! Can you order a non halal burger if you wish?

And if this was your 3rd time you had bacon in a burger why did you go back and eat there after the 2nd time or just order a Big Mac or cheeseburger instead?

I got crap food from Nandos once, never been back............

ps, why would they sell bacon in a halal restaurant?
