I'm hoping they will not get in. If they do, then I think we are finished as a nation. What a horrible embarrassment and humiliation it would be in front of the rest of the world…
I don't even want to contemplate it.0 -

I don't even want to contemplate it.
The decisions you make every day have a greater impact on your life than the marginal difference a labour/ tory PM would make.
It'll be fine.0 -

Personally I think you should stop sitting on the fence :-)0 -

No.
The chances of such an eventuality have already been priced in. Prices might dip, but no crash.0 -

Indeed. Many seem to refer to Labour as the Red Tories.
It's interesting that this term was originally pointed toward the Conservatives rather than Labour

What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

No there won't be.
There would be a crash if the SNP formed a majority Government but that would be because most of the rest of Britain had been destroyed leaving only 80 or 90 constituencies left and most of those would be grim northern hell holes.0 -
I hope they get in. Miliband unlike Brown/Blair is the natural heir to the late John Smith in terms of his personal politics and core beliefs. Anyone is frankly preferable to the vacuous Cameron“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0

The possibility of all likely outcomes is already priced in. There may even be a rise whoever gets in. The market hates uncertainty, once the results are in the uncertainty decreases.0

It makes not one jot of difference who is in power. Only hard work and a functioning brain will make a difference
Don't expect politicians to solve your problems, get you a better paid job or a nice house, you silly lefty.
And no, there won't be a FTSE crash.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
It will probably be down, because the market does not fully expect a Labour/SNP government.
I expect the reality of such a government will probably be bad, but less bad than some people fear (and I say that as a natural conservative supporter). That's largely because once they start dealing with the reality of no money they will have to disappoint with the 'NHS and social housing will flow with milk and honey' promises they have been making to all. They will just bung tax up quite a bit, spend some money on some silly schemes for special interest groups, the economy will do a bit more poorly and that's about it.
On the other hand, all the socialists wailing about the dangers of the conservatives are also highly likely to be over-dramatic, given that after 5 years of government we have hardly had the social fabric of the nation ripped apart at all.0
