Bread maker pan stuck in machine

Just wondered if anyone has any ideas.

I've just made a loaf of bread in my Panasonic bread maker.

When the cycle ended, I went to get the 'bucket' out of the machine as normal, to turn the loaf out, and found that the bucket is jammed solid into the machine - it won't move at all :(

Just wondered if anyone else had ever experienced anything like this, and/or has any ideas on how to un-jam the bucket.

I've had the bread maker for about 18 months, and it's an essential for me...... I'd be gutted if it's broken completely!

Thinking about this, Might it help to run a programme with an empty pan and when the underneath part is hot put ice cubes in the pan? (it works for other stuck things, like glasses)

That's exactly what happened in the end.

When it had cooled down, I gave the pan a hefty turn, there was a clunk, it it came free:j

It's never happened before - I did some googling, and it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

But all is well. I'd be lost without my bread maker. (It's the SD 2501)

Do you wash your bread pan between uses?

I know it says not to, but I put mine in soak in the dishwater every evening. Never had it stick in the machine so far.

Yes, we do wash it out, but not in the dishwasher ( we haven't got one!)
