Hi,
hoping you can help me choose which mortgage is best for me right now.
I am looking to remortgage to a better deal, but don't know which type of mortgage is better at this present time, i am looking at a lifetime tracker mortgage or a 2 year fixed tracker. which is the one to go with ?????

thanks we want to stay with our current provider and these are our options.
2 year tracker 1.79% changing to 4.74% £499 charge
or
lifetime tracker 2.49% £499 charge
we have 15 years left on our mortgage and owe 77,000
thanks0 -
any advice would be great, just don't know whats for the best.
thanks in advance0 -
Do you want a short deal or a tracker that goes on for as long as you want?0

Do you want to start looking at another remortgage in 2 years when rates may well have gone up.
What rate are you paying now ?
Long term tracker or long term fix !0 -
our rate now is 4.74% long term tracker0

So for £499 you can cut 2.25% off your mortgage rate.
Use " whatsthecost " to work out how much less you will pay each month.
The lifetime tracker looks good But I would carry on paying your current mortgage payment and therefore pay off the mortgage quicker0 -
currently pay £610.00 per month
life time tracker will be 527.52
2 year tracker will be 501.840
