Terms and Conditions−
1. The Grand American Adventures Competition featured in Waitrose Kitchen May 2015 issue (the "Competition") is open to UK residents aged 18 and over who provide their full name and email address as well as the correct answer to the competition question.
2. Employees, the family members of employees or agencies of Grand American Adventures ("Grand American Adventures", "We"), its group companies, John Brown Media, the John Lewis Partnership or anyone else connected with the Competition may not enter the Competition.
3. Entrants into the Competition shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
4. By ticking the marketing opt-in box, you agree to Grand American Adventures having access to the personal information you provide with your competition entry and to then receiving emails from Grand American Adventures containing offers and information that we think may interest you. You will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe on every email that we send. These emails will be sent in accordance with our privacy policy.
5. To enter the Prize Draw you must submit your name, email address and the correct answer to the competition question. No purchase is necessary. 6. Only one entry per person.
Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Multiple entries, submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems will not be entered into the draw.

7. The closing date of the Prize Draw is 23.59 (GMT) on 27th May 2015. Entries received outside this time period will not be considered. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be regarded as proof of delivery. Illegible entries or those not in accordance with the rules will be disqualified; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be ineligible for the draw.

8. One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random process.


9. The winner will win two places on the Grand American Adventures ‘Deep South and Delta Blues’ tour in the USA.
The prize includes all 9 hotel nights in 3 star twin share accommodation,
1 night in a historic property, 10 breakfasts and 1 dinner
(all other meals paid locally),
all transportation in the USA by private vehicle and the services
of a professional tour leader.
The details of the tour are subject to change.

o The holiday prize includes return economy international flights to Atlanta, subject to availability. The route / airline will be chosen by Grand American Adventures.
o The holiday prize does not include travel insurance, additional hotel nights before or after the tour, optional activities, food (other than that detailed in point 9), beverages and spending money. Please note that suitable travel insurance coverage is compulsory.
o The prize is valid on all departure dates excluding Christmas and Easter periods and departures between 1st August – 14th September 2015 and 1st August – 14th September 2016.
o 8 weeks’ notice must be given prior to departure.
o The prize tour is to be taken before 17th December 2016.
o The tour must be taken by the prize-winner and their selected companion.
o All travellers must either take out appropriate travel insurance via Grand American Adventures or have another adequate policy in place at time of travel.
o It is the travellers responsibility to ensure that they have a EU valid passport with minimum six month validity beyond the return date for the duration of their stay in the USA, that they are eligible to enter the USA and obtain the correct documentation for travel to US (including any visas or ESTA https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta) in good time for their travel.
o Bookings are subject to normal tour conditions, available on request, and bookings cannot be altered once booked.
o All travellers must travel together. If the travellers are unable to travel in accordance with the above or by the date listed, the winners shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize.
o The prize tour is subject to availability and all standard booking conditions apply.
10. The winner will be notified no later than 22nd June via the email address provided on entry. If any emails to the winner are returned as undeliverable or the winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified by Grand American Adventures, then we reserve the right to award the prize to another winner in accordance with the process described above. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner's prize will be forfeited and Grand American Adventures shall be entitled to select another winner.
11. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes
12. The winner must be over 18 years of age and hold all necessary visas for entry to the destination countries.
13. Acceptance of rules is a condition of entry.
14. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. This promotion is operated under the rules and regulations of the UK sales promotions industry.
