Have the xbox one HDMI running into back of tv
Then HDMI from Xbox 360 into the HDMI In, at the back of an Xbox 1.
Xbox one is fine but when I turn off the one and put the 360 on nothing happens.
any ideas?

You'll need to have both systems on if you want to use the 360 in that way. You just use the TV app on the One in order to see the picture from the 360. Not ideal in terms of efficiency but at least you won't need to continually switch cables every time you want to use one or the other.0

Thanks, will try that - like you say better than switching cables all the time!!0 -

Hadn't occurred to me I could do this, I'll give it a try.0 -
Just spend £6 on a 5 way HDMI switch from eBay, and another £1.50 on an extra HDMI cable, then eirther one will work with the other off, and you get 3 extra inputs for the future.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

What he said ^^^^^
Think about it otherwise - the power usage of the Xbone plus the power usage of the 360. You're using too much juice and it will cost you. That isn't worth it.0
