I've stuck this in 'I won' as TBH im completely flummoxed as to what I received in the post today,
Received a box wrapped in brown paper today (with the wrong first name on the front, but surname and address correct) think its maybe a DVD as its so light but nope its a box with balloons and things on the front and the words 'A gift for you' and inside a shed load of tissue paper with confetti all loose in the box!
Its obviously gone everywhere (including in my laptop) theres no return address or card in it so no idea if its a random win that was indeed confetti (maybe I entered a wedding comp by accident?) and whoever was given the job of packing it had very little sense, or there should have been a prize somewhere within it that was missed, or ive got a very strange enemy somewhere who though it was worth a large letter stamp to make a mess of my livingroom
If it is a (albeit rather strange) comp win can anyone find it as I wouldn't mind send them a email about their wrapping skills and the fact my husband has got to try and take my laptop apart now to try and get it all out from under the keys

If i'm not mistaken, there's a website in which you can send someone confetti? Like send your enemy glitter, but this is the nice version? Or maybe I'm wrong
*goes to have a search*
*removes link* sites sending glitter, confetti, other annoying things
There's a whole host of them, maybe someone thought they were being funny!?December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
I did wonder nelie, it was a bit weird that it had the wrong first name but did sound similar to my own (like someone had misheard it) which wouldn't have happened on a comp win as i'm pretty sure I wouldn't mistype my own name :rotfl: I had another look at the 'gift for you' box and it has the company name Lomis International on the side which when I googled had no website but is registered on companies house and is in London, so im completely bemused by it all! If someone was hoping to annoy me it didn't work, its just left me totally confused :rotfl:
Think i'll chalk this one up as a mystery not to be solved and any more boxes that have 'gift for you' printed on them will be opened well away from my laptop :rotfl:
EDIT: having googled 'send someone glitter' i'm quite honoured that someone might have thought I was worth £5.99SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000
