I've been bimbling along since 2011 paying a DMP..some brief facts about my personal debt stupidity...
I currently owe
Barclays credit card (2008)£3300
Paragon - £1800 (2009)(virgin credit card)
I have been defaulted on these 3...
Moorcroft £7854 (2008)(sainburys personal loan, default expires Dec 2016)
HBOS credit card(2008) £4300 (Default expires dec 2017)
Paragon personal finance £488 (2006)(bank overdraft)(default expires Dec 2016)
So I'm paying £170 a month but recently a family member has kindly offered an extra £300 to the pot to help me sort this mess out.
Im have just today sent the CCA letters to the 3 accounts where I have been defaulted.
I don't want to mess around with the other 2 at the moment as the last thing I want is them to default.
The plan is, hopefully, for them to fail and then I can make significantly reduced settlement figures.....
thats the plan....the mission is on..............the push to end this hell starts here !!!
Any advice from anyone is always VERY welcome.........

So HBOS came back with what looks like a satisfactory CCA, so I'ce pennded a letter to them offering them a 25% settlement figure...heres hoping.
The big Moorcroft debt have still yet to reply so they are going to get a letter Monday stating they've 14 days to tell me how they intend to resolve it.Debt free since Jan 2016

Hi dobbollah just wanted to say I hope you get an agreement from the other 2 loans. That's really good about HBOS.0

thanks Craazycat :-)
Well HBOS declined my 25% which was a shame, so new letter offering 35%...fingers crossed again.
Im the mean time Moorcroft haven't replied to the CCA request, in fact they havent made any reply at all so I've given them 14 days to suggest a solution, if they ignore that they will get told I'm not paying any more until they can provide...
and if HBOS dont want my offer then I'll offer it to Moorcroft as hopefully they will be in a weaker position.....
During April and May i've worked an unhealthy amount of overtime but its knocked £1200 off the Barclaycard :-)Debt free since Jan 2016

slightly frustrating month, after another obscene amount of overtime I'm in a position to settle one of the accounts, and the day after they post out the settlement letter, they sell the debt...fantastic....
and the new company, after me sending them the paperwork will take up to 10 working days to look at the settlement offer (5 already gone)
so a very frustrating sequence of events.......
our largest creditors have stopped recieving payments temporarily as they are trying to provide cca documents which i requested early May.....fingers crossed they cant provide them !Debt free since Jan 2016

July was a good month on the whole, settled 2 accounts at 65% discount.....
And that meant 'hump' day ! I've paid more than I have to pay !!
The plan is to try and clear Barlcaycard and the other card by the end of this year which leaves is one large £7500 account left.
That accounts in limbo at the moment, its been 3 months since I made my CCA request to them and still nothing..............Debt free since Jan 2016
