UK based hosting for Wordpress.org suggestions

Hi, I'm starting a site on wordpress.org and would really appreciate some up to date information or recommendations for a hosting provider, the site will be a magazine type layout not ecommerce.

I specifically want a UK based host that has wordpress one click facilities and have narrowed it down to

TSO hosts - Sounds good but I have read about issues surrounding confidentiality
Fasthosts - not great reviews
Evo hosting - sounds great but need more non biased info
Bluehost - great reviews in general but they are US based with a European hosting option when you sign up, I believe.

I am surprised at the lack of non affiliate reviews that are up to date so any help or advice would be much appreciated, thank you :)

Not sure what you have read but I've been with tsohost for years and never once had a problem and would recommend them,

And as you are going for a .org you can ask them to make sure you do not show up on whois so it will not show your name address etc.
  • I used Tsohost for about a year - I only switched to 1&1 because I needed space for more websites and they were cheaper. I had no problems with Tsohost at all.

Does it need to be a UK company or UK server. A lot of US companies have UK servers and you can specifically select the server.
