Does UJM site track where you login from? re holidays

On JSA< regularly apply for jobs, and log activity on UJM as required, but the slog does get me down..

Some good friends has offered me a 'free' week away in Spain (OK, will be helping do up a cheap apartment they bought, in return for free flights and food!)..

I will still be doing online job searches / applications, though If I login to UJM from abroad, will they think I'm skiving off?

What does the terms of your JSA agreement state for when on holiday abroad, does it permit for this?

Unless things have changed you can't claim when abroad you will need to sign off and reclaim when you get back.

I'm not computer savvy but i can't imagine the JobCentre could tell where you were. But even if they did ask, if you said you hadn't been on holiday you gone looking for a job.

was thinking the cookies, do DWP log locations? The last job diary I had mentions 'tell us about any change in your circumstances', though nothing about going abroad..

But why do you think you can claim JSA and work? You have stated that you will be working over there so you aren't seeking employment.

You used to be allowed a short holiday and keep claiming JSA, as long as you are still seeking work. But you do need to tell your advisor.

You could just use a UK VPN for any login to the JC+ you might do during that week.

But only if you are still in the uk. If you go abroad, then you must sign off the day before you go, and sign back on the day after you return. You may be permitted a "rapid reclaim" depending on how long you have been away.

For the sake of a week it doesn't seem worth signing off, just in case use hide my ip when logging on to do searches.
