Occupiers Consent Form?

Options
The one signed by non borrowing occupiers? When should I be receiving this? Prior to exchange or before completion? If I haven't had one do I need to chase the solicitor? My wife is the non borrowing occupier

It may be sent to you by the lender with the mortgage offer. You could ask the lender, or if not, then ask the solicitor.

The document is to protect the lender, so it's in their interests to make sure the form is signed, but if you know that something needs to be done, I think it's always best to chase, just to be on the safe side!

    We're close to exchange.

Edit: I'm paying this fee and that fee to solicitors, brokers etc etc so it does seem a bit rich that I may have chase for a form for the benefit of the BS but no doubt I'd be the one ending up with a headache if nothing happened.
