Xbox 360 and extra storage

I know it says for preview program members but the Xbox 360 users will be able to use a larger (larger than what it is currently ) external hard drive for games.

Thank you for that info, although I would like to find out from someone if the drive has to be completely XBOX360? If the 360 formats it etc or if an existing drive can be used - that would be nice to know.0
