I bought some stuff from Boots the other day and thought I could use my £6 of points off the purchases but was told I could only spend the points up to the same value ie not allowed to pay the difference. Seems a bit odd, now wondering if the cashier was right. Anyone know?

The cashier was right; this has always been the way the Boots Advantage card has worked.0 -
If you have £6 of points and buying a £4 item that is fine, you have £2 of points left. But if you want another £4 item then I think it will be a second transaction for the cash purchase of that item.
If you are buying an £8 item and have £6 of points that has never worked, you need enough points to cover the whole cost of an item.0
