Mother Of the Bride Outifts in Manchester

Anyone know any good places for mother of the bride outfits in Manchester.

Struggling to find more than a handful of shops.

Wedding in August.

Thanks

We got my mum's outfit from Phase eight, in John Lewis.

Any department store will surely have a good variety of outfits which will be appropriate?

Silly me, I hadn't realised MOB outfits were a separate thing. But then I was surprised to see bridal lingerie was a thing (that looks no different to the rest) and one pair of knickers was £70+!

I did have a look at the likes of John Lewis but there was nothing that caught my eye.

I'm just back from 3 days in Manchester looking for an outfit for my Mum.

We used the Personal Shopper service at House of Fraser and Debenhams. This was really good as they got my Mum trying on things which she would never have tried, and actually she ended up buying a style of dress which she had said in the beginning she didn't want. They also put together things from different ranges and designers, which you might not consider if you were browsing on your own.

I'd really recommend doing this - there is no charge and we didn't feel under any pressure to buy anything. It also only took 1-2 hours per store!
  • Thanks everybody for your replies. Will be heading to a few of these venues
