BR Forms help please...3 debts, one creditor

BR date is upon me tomorrow, but for various reasons am only just getting around to making sure the forms are all filled in and complete.

Currently doing my unsecured creditors and a bit confused, I have 2 overdrafts and 1 loan given to me by LloydsTSB, do I list them as seperate debts or one debt?

I ask because I have had BCW chasing me for the combined amount of all 3 over the last 7/8 months, not sure whether to list them all as one or 3 smaller ones?

On a slightly lighter note, BCW offered me a 50% settlement on the debt, effectively knocking it down to 4.5k from 9k, shame about the other 10k of debt I have, he he!

(this is false humour, i'm actually bricking it about tomorrow)

    List the debts separately, Exp.

Take the BCW letter with you when you see your OR.

  • Thanks for the good luck messages folks, keeping a lid on the nerves for now!

Another question though...where I have to put the address for my 2 bank accounts that are overdrawn, do I put the branch address's or should there be some kind of main address for the creditor, LloydsTSB in this case?

I put down my branch address...mentioned this to the OR they had no problems with it (they said the details would be probably forwarded to another office within the bank anyhow!)

  • Bit stuck now on the reasons for each individual debt, the loan was for housing deposit and various household but the 2 overdrafts (1 x £2500 and 1 x £2000) were for ongoing monthly spends, was living in london at the time and was self employed, went through a bit of a slump and wasn't making much money, they never reached the limits for quite a while so the money wasn't spent immediately, just don't know how to explain them?

I would just put something like:

"Attempting to make up for a temporary shortfall in living expenses".

Believe me the OR has seen it all before. You took the OD out with honest intent (although perhaps unwisely in hindsight) and that is all that matters. :)
