Clydesdale bank anyone else had serious problems with them

This is a long one but my partner voluntarily handed his house back to the clydesdale bank in July 2011 because he was suffering financial difficulties and the bank had refused on several occasion to decrease his mortgage payments in anyway what so ever. They sent a letter in oct 2011 confirming they were in possession of the property at which point they changed the locks and boarded up the house and demanded full repayment, they also sent calling up notices. My partner went bankrupt in august 2011 and was discharged 2012. In September 2013 my partner had been getting chased for council tax arrears on the property he had handed back and after chasing found out the the property was still in his name some 2years later. We have been fighting this bank ever since, who have advised they do not want the property back because it's in negative equity and that they never took possession of the property despite their letter and changing the locks etc. we have been dealing with Angus Mackenzie who is high up within their complaints,he is completely hopeless and continually lies,as does head of mortgages nick winter bottom.never dealt with such an organisation ever. Despite written evidence that the bankruptcy covers any shortfall In the mortgage amount they will just do nothing. at the beginning of this year they contacted my work which is also a bank and told them that I was the subject of a fraud investigation by them and that the police were involved, they requested details on me to confirm my identity. They have since told me that they said anything about any fraud or police investigation, and that they only wanted to confirm my identity, which makes no difference to any complaint that they have, my work have given me in writing wat was requested. Bear in mind, I personally have nothing to do with this bank, it's my partners mortgage and his complaint. I believe they have done this for no other reason than with malicious intent and has caused my reputation at work to suffer. It has been reported to the police, the ICO and the ombudsman. But still we re getting nowhere with the house. I am disgusted with everyone I have spoke to all they do is lie, they care about no one and they are seriously affecting my health, I was diagnosed with MS last year and cannot get a break with the continual lies and stress that they cause. Has anyone else had this experience with a bank or the clydesdale or any advice??
Thanks
