I don't think so!
Had a messae to ring MBNA and apparently they are having an annual review of my account and are concerned at the overall level of my debt.
So much so they have put a block on the account so that I can't use the card.
Strangely enough they went very quiet when I mentioned that I too was concerned at the level of my debt and it would help a great deal if they would lower the interest rate so I could pay it off quicker and that if they had done the review properly they would have noticed that I hadn't used the account for a good while now.....and that was after I refused to tell them hubby's salary as it was none of their business!

I thought that we hadn't seen much about the dreaded MBNA for a few weeks - looks like I'm about to be proved wrong.
MoD - You are absolutely right - your husband's salary is none of their business.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
