Akinika calls. Need advice!

Options
Hi there,
I will explain shortly my problem. I'm a 19yrs girl who
sold a few months ago a SSD on ebay which was sealed and brand new, at the price of 235.00£. It turned out to be faulty and the buyer requested a refund which I couldn't give as i didn't have money or an income. I sold it because i needed money to pay my rent which is 500£ pcm. I didn't have a job from december last year till mid march, so I've been struggling a lot with the money. Now i have this job which i got paid today for the second time 1061£, which is not too much as i am on my own, and i have to pay rent plus bills and food. Today i received a call from akinika which is a debt agency from what I've read online. Can i ask, how should I deal with them? What is the best way to pay back my debt? I'm so scarred now. I thought about that this will happen, and i had in plan to pay back ebay, because I'm not that kind of person, but i don't know where I should seek advice as like i said I'm on my own, without family in uk, so i'm just trying to survive and have a better future. Thank you very much for anyone who will answer at this post. Feel free to ask any questions if needed.

So you sold this item on eBay, turned out to be faulty, I don't know what an SSD is, but didn't it come with any manufacturers guarantee ?
So now obviously eBay refunded the buyer, now there DCA of choice is chasing you for the debt yes ?

The good news is debts to eBay will not show on your credit file, this DCA may send you a few letters, and attempt to phone you, do not speak to them on the phone, there are thousands of failed transactions on eBay every year, it's unlikely they will attempt to collect this for very long, chances are they will forget about you fairly soon, if you can afford to pay anything, and feel compelled to do so, just pay eBay back directly, ignore the DCA, they will only be acting on there behalf.

A ssd is a pc component.
And yes, they want me to pay back the debt. And this morning called me an agent and told me that he is calling on behalf of ebay. I want to pay the debt, but i can't right now. Just in a few months. And i didn't have any warranty for the ssd unfortunately😔. I feel so bad.. I don't want to have any debt. Thank you very much for the answer.

Pay what you can when you can.

Don't prioritise this over rent etc. This is a non-priority debt.

And don't talk to Akinika on the phone.
