Tesco Loan Question
Hi all,
Wondering if someone could advise: today myself and my partner applied for a loan with Tesco Bank to finance the purchase of a new car. We did this via telephone as I am already an existing customer so decided this was the quickest way. Anyway we were wanting to borrow £13,000 and we were pleasantly surprised to get their lowest APR rate of 3.8%. The gentleman stated they would be sending out the documents for us to sign in the next few days. What I'm wondering is can they push the APR rate up on the posted documents and/or once they are signed and go back for approve? (They state it takes two days to process once they have it back signed) even though that's what they have offered over the phone? I did make a point of saying that is definitely the rate we would get but having read a few stories on here it's got me concerned.
Any advice would be a great help. Thanks

If they've sent out an agreement with that rate on, then that's the rate you'll get.0

Thanks, just worried they would alter it. I can rest easy now.0

Just to say that it all went through fine at the rate of 3.8%. Sent off signed agreement yesterday and funds were cleared in my account at 3pm today. Can't fault their service at all.0
