Will me been ina dmp just affect me or my household???

    If anyone in the household has a financial association with you (joint loan etc), that may have an impact on them. Unassociated persons will not be affected at all.
    Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

    If you are in a dmp you should be declaring both of your incomes and expenditures.

    To answer your question though, no it doesn't affect your husband unless he has a financial association with you as bargainbetty has said

    I have not declared my husbands income it is nothing to do with my creditors. the debts are in my name only. I pay 50% of all house hold bills and my own expenses and what is left is used from my DMP

    Hi,
    Your DMP is an informal arrangement between you and your creditors, there is no obligation on you to inform anyone about the arrangement, and there are no formal rules.

    As you say the debts are all in your name, it will not effect anyone but you, debt does not transfer from one person to another, how you run it is up to you.
