Whats in your fridge? Turning mine off

Over the past few months we have been trying to find ways of reducing unnecessary leakage and seepage from our income - and one of the things I have noticed is that we have been powering a fridge for no apparent reason.
Over the past couple of months the only items to be stored in the fridge are:-
Both of the dried yeasts are things that I can get locally, fresh and for free - so really, I see no point in powering my fridge.
What's in your fridge, and could you live without it?

Booze and ice, and some non-essentials like opened sauce jars, olive spread, mayonnaise, meal left-overs.
Admittedly, could just leave all this stuff outside at the moment...0 -
Butter / Spread
Veg
Cheese
Milk
Cat food (I feed raw meats)
The evening's meal, slowly defrosting.
Drinks when we have people round.
Yoghurt.
Some fruit.
I think that's about it.0 -
Goodness, loads, I couldn't live without it.
ATM I have
Butter
Milk
Cheese, lots of it
Cold meats
Sausages
Yoghurt
Pizza dough and sauce
OH's sandwich fillings for his work lunch
Salad
Veg
Potatoes
A whole shelf of sauces, preserves etc
Cold drinks
I suppose we could do without if we were all dairy-free vegetarians!
I keep my dried yeast in the cupboard btw.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
We have soya butter, oat, koko and coconut milk. A lot of fruit, veg, hummus and then various sauces.
All the sauces say "keep in fridge once open" but I wonder if most actually do....?My debt free diary

Dairy free vegetarians - vegans!! Of which I am one and have soya butter, and various types of milk which all need to be kept in a fridge. I also make my own cheese that needs to be kept in there. My debt free diary

We're vegans and couldn't do without our fridge! We keep the soya spread, opened soya milk, vegan yogurts, sandwich fillings, salad, mushrooms, etc, in it. It's constantly full.0 -
I moved into my house in late November and discovered the fridge/freezer didn't work. The kitchen only gets early morning sun and is quite cool. I bought small bottles of milk and drank them up quickly. I think it was about two months before I finally got a replacement (accidentally ordered a 50/50 when I needed a 70/30- doh!) and it wasn't too bad; however I knew it was only temporary. I wouldn't want to live too long without a freezer. If you make a lot of pastry the fat should be chilled. They are an EYESORES!!!!0

I stand corrected
In which case OP, what kind of a diet do you have that you don't need a fridge at all? I'm intrigued now!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
