Currys price match and refund???

hi all
I purchased a £650 laptop 6 days ago from Currys. It is now £500 (as advertised on TV), Can I claim a "Price Match " refund for the differance..

    What does their website say? Did you purchase it instore or online?

    Edit: The website price promise only applies to price differences at the time of purchase.

    Is it the Sony Vaio?

    If you purchased instore, then you could ask for the difference in price, but they are not obliged to give it to you. If it is the Sony Vaio, I would be surprised if they did, as it is out of stock everywhere.

    It is the sony Viao. We have the PC ,Just Peeed off that a day after we brought it ,it went down £150, Think wil try anyway, nothing gained by not trying....

  • Some people might say you could buy one for £500 and then return it the next day under their 28 day change of mind policy but accidentally take the £650 receipt...

    I couldn't possibly advocate doing that

    We used to do it if it was within 7 days at the store where I worked. Go for it!
