I have this and not sure if I am using it correctly, as I never see any difference.

Is it an instant filler type product or does it need regular use?

    Thanks

Pootle, I have used this product in the past and loved it though I'm not sure that I applied it correctly as I found it worked better on top of moisturiser rather than underneath. It made my skin so smooth however I found it too expensive to keep replacing as the bottle only lasted me a month. I keep seeing it on duo deals on QVC and keep dithering about buying it again.

To answer your question I noticed a difference on first application.

I use it as a serum, then Hydraluron and moisturiser, I will try it your way VALM to see if any difference.

Here is a link advising who should use and how to, they say 2 months on and 1 off, which is roughly how I use it, use less expensive stuff o my neck though. One of the reasons I keep going back to it is that it is fine when my skin is super sensitive (often) and other things sting:(

Have some UUs, some for end of April, some for today.

Dalmacija No.1 eye cream - WNBA - was OK, TK Maxx bargain. Real LHJ, did the job but nothing special.

Champneys hand and nail cream - WMBA - smelt nice and did the job, would perhaps buy again.

Jurlique rose hand cream - WMBA - this was my work hand cream and I got some good comments on the nice smell!

I've put a few bits in a nice bag for my work colleagues, they can fight amongst themselves:
Ren Rose Otto Bath Oil - Got this in a set with body lotion and shower gel. I don't really take baths, the last one I had was when I was pregnant and overdue by 2 weeks. It was recommended to try to bring on labour (didn't work). Bearing in mind DS is 6yo on Sunday it's been a while!! I would like to point out that I have washed in 6 years...I just much prefer a shower;)

Charles Worthington blow-dry spray - as my hair is now in a short bob I don't really need volume. Haven't used it for months.

Becca Jewel Dust for eyes - this didn't sell on eBay. Way too glittery and pigmented for me, wouldn't know where to start with it to be honest!

Nars duo eyeshadow in South Pacific - I honestly don't know what possessed me to buy this, over zealous SA no doubt. I never have nor ever will wear blue eyeshadow, but Nars is expensive so it's taken me a while to actually give it up.

Maybelline dream mousse eyeshadow in Gold- not really my thing

Burts Bees tinted lip balm - hardly ever used this, i like to be able to slather on my lip balm but as its tinted you have to be quite careful, more like lipstick really.

Clinique chubby stick x2 - whoppin watermelon and mega melon, both mag freebies from a while ago. Both colours so subtle that you can't even tell there's anything there so they never got used. I'm sure someone else will like them.

YSL eyeliner pots in Emerald Green and purple - the green is quite near to the finish but still some left. I did use this a lot but since i've bought my Chanel eyeliner it's been relegated, as using a brush just isn't the easiest way to put on eyeliner! The purple I wasn't so keen on so this has hardly been used at all.

Maxfactor mascara - couldn't get on with this. The wand is a really weird shape and I wasn't keen on the formulation.

Lancome mascara - used maybe twice, was a in a GWP set. Gave to Mum.

    TA:

Benefit 'they're real' mascara small size - liked this but only layered over another mascara, otherwise it was way too wet. Had been used and open for a long time so was time to go.

Clinique mascara small size - liked this but was more of a subtle effect so WNBA - again open for a while and was a bit dry so went in the bin.

I thought my Chanel CC Cream was on it's last legs so I cut open the top and lo and behold, probably about another 2 weeks of product in there, if not more! At £40 for a tube that's a lot of money's worth that a lot of people would chuck away...but we know better don't we ladies;)

Well that's made me feel very good getting rid of all that! At least someone else can benefit from stuff that was just sat in make-up bag number 2.

    Enjoy your weekend everyone x

That's an amazing clear out! No wonder you feel good :) I'm sure you'll make lots of people happy as well :)

I have an IN to confess to - I bought InStyle magazine so that I could try the Clinique Smart Serum. I've put it straight into use as my night serum and will be interested to see how long 10ml lasts.

Fortunately I have some OUTs as well :D

Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner (50ml) - I really liked this. I think I prefer it to the apricot one that I have a fullsize of...

Abahna Frangipani and Orange Blossom Body Lotion (2 x 5ml) - this is lovely. I'd maybe buy it in the future but I have this scent as a perfume so don't really need to.

Bioderma Sebium Micellar Solution (20ml) - WNBA as the Garnier version works just as well for me and it's so much cheaper :)

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Spot Treatment Gel (15ml) - this was my HG spot treatment. They seem to have repackaged/renamed/possibly reformulated it :( I have two cheaper spot treatments to UU before I'm allowed to re-buy anyway.

Orly Slip It Off Extra Strength Remover (100ml) - I'm really miffed about this! I WDNBA as it has dried up and I only used it about three times. The Bourjois version was better in every way - cheaper, more effective, smelt nicer and lasted for months.

Finished off on 82 products last month.

This month, I'm working on my enormous Lush stash.
4 items out tonight from my pamper session.

I'll have to make a list of all the products that I'm GA this month for friends and families' pressies.

Famous last words! :rotfl:ETA: that was supposed to have been a quick reply to Mrs-MP[/B, clearly I haven't got the hang of the new forum layout yet :o]

Instead of compiling my PP list I have spent this afternoon watching YT, pampering myself and enjoying the peace and quiet before all five children descend for the weekend. Time well spent, I think you'll all agree ;)

    Definitely time well spent.

Me and DH have a full weekend without the kids for the first time ever (DD is 11), we don't have grandparents helping us out unfortunately so we have been looking forward to this for ages. Today we have a 100 mile bike ride planned, bath, take away and wine, tomorrow a 12 mile hike with the dog and Monday a 30 mile bike ride and a rest in the afternoon.

I have three uu's to kick off May

James Read Sleep Mask Tan 25ml - this stuff is expensive. It is an overnight mask for the face but I don't self tan my face, the results this morning are even and subtle. I have another tube so I may brave that on my face.

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser 50ml - totally love this, my skin goes aaahhh when I put it on.

Melvita Rosewater 28ml - very nice but I won't go out of my way to get hold of it again. I have kept the spray bottle for putting other toners in as it is very :money:.

    .

If anyone else is interested in the Clinique freebies I've read on hitukdeals that the magazine is cheaper in Tesco. I won't be buying it as I'm not a huge fan of Clinique skincare and have enough mascara and lipgloss to keep me going.

The Abahna fragrance sounds lovely. I like Elemis Frangipani and Liz Earle Orange Blossom so bet I'd like this. Can you only buy this range online? Not that I need any shower gel yet.

    First UU of the month

10ml Shower Gel sample - did me at least 3 (but I think 4) showers.
This was a Palmolive Thermal Spa sample, and I quite liked it. I could feel the 'bits' much more than I can in the unscented Simple one I have on the go which is meant to be an exfoliating one.
Would buy if I found on it on a good offer and didn't have such a huge stockpile (at the rate I used this I've enough for about 30 years )

    Welcome Ailurophile x

I have first UUS of the month and first IN

UUS LE Ltd Edition Lavender C&P. Nice enough but WNBA? Prefer the patchouli one.

IN Batiste Original. couldn't resist when I saw it at ALDI for half price. Have given it to Emma as her can is very light.

Been pampering today. Had bath using Lush Holly Golightly bubble bar. Love this. Will try and eek this one out cos it's my last one. Put on Argan Oil hair mask. Then showered and washed hair. Applied Elemis Papaya a Enzyme Peel which I realised I have missed. followed by Balance Me face mask. Not a huge fan because of the bits. Tube is feeling quite light now. Themn applied Elemis Super Serum which is lovely but can't see me buying on a regular basis as its v expensive.
