Freezing Chicken question

I know this is probably obvious or been answered before, so sorry if I am repeating stuff...I cooked a chicken yesterday - have made a meal for today and still have enough meat for another meal - will the meat be ok in the fridge till tomorrow? or should I now freeze that meat for another time? or am I even too late to freeze now as I cooked it yesterday?
