I totally sympathise. I need a new job but feel so beaten down and destroyed by my current one that I feel I won't find one, won't be able to cope with it, don't know how to get time off for interviews etc. It's really horrible.
I don't think there is an easy answer to be honest. i think maybe you just have to go for it (looking for a new job) and realise that it's you or the job, something has to give :( well that's what I think anyway. I really should take my own advice :)
I know weekends/evening are probably when you want to relax and not think about work (well they are for me anyway) but can you find some time to start job hunting?
