missing prize

Hi everyone.
I wondered if I should give up chasing a prize. It's a well known company whose products I currently own and use. The prize is low value though.
I won in December and chased up in an e-mail end of January.
Heard nothing back so asked on their facebook wall in February, they asked to send a message with my address and I did and they said they would sort it. this was on Feb 11th.
I asked if there was any news on 23rd Feb and they said the factory was busy , that's why it was held up.
23rd March I ask if they had heard anything and was told they'd look into it ASAP. now I am feeling like I'm pestering them. I get a message on 24th asking what and where I had won it. They said the will re-order and send it that week. April 16th I ask if it was sent, saying I felt like I was pestering , but it had been 4 months. They said they will get back tp me with a delivery date. on 27th I ask if they had my address as a way to contact them without repeating myself. They said they had sent it to my address. I asked when to expect it to make sure I'm in but no reply.
is it worth me asking every month, or just giving up do you think? Sorry it's a bit long winded

whats the company
is it worth it?
can you really be arsed?Speak your mind.- Nobody else will do it for you.0 -
They obviously do care to have written about it at such length.
Complain to the ASA then forget about it, they will *probably* sort it out for you.0 -

depends on how much of a 'great prize' it is from such a reputable company
some people might go at length to whinge, doesnt mean to say the prize is worth bothering aboutSpeak your mind.- Nobody else will do it for you.0 -
Thanks. Sorry if I sound very boring. I didn't mention the name of the company in case I get in trouble for doing so. It's a duvet from slumberdown. I guess I'll just leave it. I did wonder whether to ask or not , or if people would find me sad for bothering. I don't often post and was asking for some advice. This is why I don't and I guess I probably won't againaugust wins:-0

Take it to the ASA. You won it, you should have it. No matter what size the prize is.Thanks to all posters :A0 -
as i asked what the prize was and from who it wil make a lot of difference to the next course of action
if it was joanne bloggs offering some homemade jewellry tat on facebook then it probably wouldnt be worth the effort
as it's slumberdown it might not be in their interests to ignore comments about missing prizesSpeak your mind.- Nobody else will do it for you.0 -
Sorry you haven't got your prize yet, do you have twitter? If so, I find tweeting them seems to get their attention and has resolved a few situations like this for me, hope you get your prize soon xSmile0

If they said they've sent it on the 27th (Yesterday), then surely you should wait a few days and see if it arrives before complaining to anyone?0 -
did it arrive yet?0
