Mkdp - llyods tsb debt

Hello everyone
About 5 years ago I got in a mess with wonga, I had a £600 loan and ended up switching my bank account for my salary to be pAid into so I could default on the wonga loan and set up a payment plan. Wonga couldn't agree to a payment plan at the time and after a couple of months took the money from my llyods account which ended up as an unauthortised overdraft. The debt now stands at £1336 and ive stupidly buried my head for a couple of years and am now setting up payment with all my creditors.
My question is how where llyods able to give the money to wonga when there was nothing in my account and I didn't have access to an overdraft just a standard current account, is there anything I can do about this? Ive spoke to mkdp and when I explained the lady sounded quite confused and said she will be requesting statements for me and putting the account on hold for now.
Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

You could try a written complaint to Lloyds. If that fails, you can do the same to Wonga. Or even both at the same time.
If you get nowhere, refer to FOS and let them see what they think.
You could argue Wonga shouldn't have taken it, given their recent fiasco. You could also argue Lloyds shouldn't have paid it.
Worth a go.:beer:0
