do i have any rights as a competition winner...

i have won a weekend away and am having issues regarding the flight providers, the airline are potentially going on strike the day we are meant to fly however they haven't yet released the minimum services list and are giving all customers the option to reschedule their flights.
I have asked that they send me my tickets in case the flight is not cancelled and have stated that I will choose dates to reschedule if the flight is cancelled. They have said this is not an option and i must change my dates, I have explained that i work and getting annual leave is difficult, i have since seen on their facebook page a post where a customer is asking if she can wait to reschedule her flights and they have said that she can.
This isn't the first time they have tried to not give me the tickets they originally said that we could not have them because we will be returning on a bank holiday and that the flights were sold out, i checked on their website and the flights were not sold out and they agreed to book us onto that one!
I'm supposed to be going away this friday and was under the impression i would be receiving the tickets via email this week.
Is there anything I can do cause i don't think its right that they are telling one passenger that they can wait and see however i am not allowed!
any info would be really appreciated!
thanks

I'd add a message under the other girl's giving a very brief version of what you've said above.
When put on the spot in public, they tend to be more accommodating...

I don't really understand what's going on with this, but generally competition terms state that you can't fly (or take any kind of holiday booking) on a public holiday as this is when the seats are the most expensive (whether it's sold out or not).
In regards to the other persons comments, are they also a competition winner?
Would really need to see the terms of the particular competition.0 -
