Re-usable "female" products

Options
Hi

I wanted to write this to make women aware of some options for moneysaving you might not of thought of, its also eco-friendly :T

I have a delivery of re-usable sanitary protection arriving soon and think its a great way of saving money and the environment plus makes that time of the month a little bit more fun.

I paid £25 and have a good little set of pads to get along with and a custom made bag to keep them in too, the order has come from america and the designs I have coming are so cute and funky.

You rinse them out and wash with soap basically, dry out and then re-use and they should last years especially if seams go in which case I will stitch repair. They are made of cotton so fully breathable and can stop itchiness and the like and are supposed to be very comfortable to wear. They fix with presstuds underneath and are so very similar to the wings we are so familiar with. Afterwards they fold up on themselves and can be carried until cleaned.

All together I believe it will save money and the amount of waste I send to landfill and I wouldnt hesitate to encourage others to try the same.

There are many forms of pad whether you need ones for little leaks or just a pantyliner from time to time. So please have a look and see what you think. Ive used hagrag to get mine but there are plenty of options.

For those using tampons instead many people have converted to a moon cup. Ive heard great reviews though personally not my thing ;)
