HSBC loan

HI Everyone,

Can someone help me I have a loan with the above bank and have had a few issues with the above regarding a change of direct debit... anyway it looked like it had been sorted as it was showing as a pending transaction on Friday to clear today so I was quite happy. However I have checked my account and it hasn't been taken from my account but a payment has been paid to my loan account. Any ideas as to why it hasn't been taken from my bank? I don't want to contact them yet but was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Just give them a call. Much easier and give you time to sort things if there is a problem.

Have they taken it from an old account if you have changed your dd?

No they keep on taking the direct debit incorrectly which I have complained about 3 times. They reverse the payment from my account but they haven't reversed it out of the loan account I'm not going to highlight the fact to them as it's there stupid error not mine. Just wondering to keep the money spare in case they notice the error and if they have a limited time to ask me for it.

Here are the transactions:-

10.04- taken from bank and paid to loan
Reversed from bank but not loan
24.04 as above

Definitely keep the money to hand as they probably won't even ask you for it they'll just try and take it!!

I would definitely contact them, this will undoubtedly catch up with you at some point and better that its when you have the money than when its gone on something else!!

Well it just gets better today I have received a phone call saying I am behind on my loan I said no check the account. I have had this for the past 3 months and logged 3 complaints all reassuring me that the issue has been resolved. Seriously unhappy with the level of service from them.
