Depends on the soup really, they like hearty things and casseroles more than anything! They're in that typically awkward stage where they hate something one day and like it the next..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Do you like cooking from scratch? With a few top ups like a pack of mince you've got the basis of a good few meals there. What meat do you usually serve?
Also, I think the WW foods are RIP offs. Personally I don't buy low fat anything because fat is what staves off hunger (I promise you this is true; fat is good for you!) but if you like low fat treats, drop down to supermarket own brands, they're all made in the same factory by the same people. We have a McVities factory in Manchester and a worker once told me how they also make all the supermarket brand biscuits too. Could you shift down a brand if you need to stick to Tesco?Started April 2015: CC Debt - £5620

Well day 1 has been a success. I sold some of our eggs so ended up with an extra £2 with which I bought the milk and cat food, with 9p leftover :T Coincedentally I also used probably about 9p in petrol getting the kids to/from their cadet group so it all worked out well!
I've put a few thinks on a facebook selling site so we'll see if anything comes of that.
Other than that I didn't spend any money today, so I have £9.50 to roll over to tomorrow.
Success!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Looking online it gave an estimate of 25mpg and I worked it out based on 112.9 a litre
I normally put £10 a week in but not sure exactly how many miles that gets me so had to guesstimate. If I remember I'll set the trip clock next time I fill upTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

25mpg is quite poor unless you have a really big engine or an older car. By my calculations with the figures you have given me:
112.9 * 4.5 = £5.09 per gallon
£5.09 / 25mpg = 20.3p per mile.
Only real way to get an accurate measure is to fill your tank, make a note of car mileage, empty tank, calculate miles and do the maths for mpg. I wouldn't afvise filling your tank at current obviously!
Good luck to, you're doing well.0 -
It's a 56 reg with a 1.6 engine but often do short journeys (under 10 miles). Will have to log it properly next time to find out!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
