Mortgage Problems in the forces

Hi All,
I am currently in the process of trying to get a mortgage through a Whole market financial adviser. I am in the Forces and 2 years ago moved back to the UK from Gibraltar. I have an exit date from the Forces in 4 years which has cut the number of companies that will even look at my application.
I have been rejected on the grounds of both my previous address in Gibraltar (even though the company said it would be fine before the application) and also my current address (which is an Army Qyarter).
I have found my families forever home I have a 10% deposit and was looking to see if anyone on here had ever came up with this problem and what the solution was.
I am in the process of a full application with Nat West because they won't give us an AIP but we fit all their lending criteria and passed the affordability check.
Confused and frustrated !!!!

Hi
Have you contacted the Forces financial advice service at all? I am unsure whether they would be able to give you some more tailored advice. Only mention as my better half is also in the Forces.0
