Hello all,
I'm back again! Have not been too well lately. I have a headache I cannot get rid of coupled with shooting pains across my head when I either cough or bend down but I go to see a neurologist on Saturday 2nd so hope it will be sorted then.
Both my daughters and I have joned Slimming World as we have a wedding to go to in July and need a boost. They are bridesmaids and according to them the dresses are like clingy tin foil!!
Luckily my youngest daughter has moved home for a new job and is ace at counting up the syns and healthy extras etc., I can't get my head around it. Chicken tagine and cous cous for tea tonight, with rasperries and strawberries, fat free greek youghurt and meringue nest for afters - yum!
Hope all well with everyone else and if not, hugs x0 -
Afternoon all,
It's been damp and miserable here all day.
DH and I popped over to Matalan, he wanted some braces (makes me think of Cannon and Ball) and I picked up a rather nice cushion for the Lounge.
Chorizo stirfry for dinner tonight.0 -
It has been quite bright today, turning a bit cloudy now though.
I still feel like I have been run over by a steamroller and the damn cough won't clear, maybe the antib's need changing, I see the doctor at 11.30am tomorrow so we shall see. I also have a podiatry appointment at 10am, she will flip when she sees my toe!
DH has been doing the tiling all day, It is coming on nicely, hopefully we will have a working shower next weekend : j Meanwhile a friend has offered us the use of hers, and I am going to take her up on it tonight
Elona ((((Hugs)))) xxx

Afternoon all,
Elona...my thoughts are with you all at this most difficult time.
Csarina.....glad to hear that OH is improving, hopefully the sheltered housing will become available soon.
DS3 and DGS1 arrived home from Florida this morning, DDIL2 is still in hospital with no guesstimate of discharge date, she is still suffering after effects of pre scan dyeto which she was allergic, kidney function is improving but very slowly, blood pressure is still high, so no chance of a fit to fly cert anytime soon....maybe everything will sort itself soon, or maybe I am being over optimistic.
Having lamb for dinner, thought that DS3 might come for dinner, but think that he is going to sleep, he is also very independant, so will probably cook for them both at home. Not sure what we will have with lamb, maybe cauliflower and white sauce, one of my favoures
Seems very quiet here without the extra dogs and people....nice for a change.
Must see to dinner if I am to have any time to knit afterwards, have been very lazy last few days.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, speedy recovery to those not well.
