We've usually bought either ASDA's Smart Price and Tesco's Everyday Value whole chickens at £2.48/kg. However, a comparison with Sainsbury's revealed that their small (minimum 1.35kg) whole chickens are £2.44/kg and large (minimum 2kg) whole chickens are £2.40/kg. And, they're also all priced at the minimum weight. The small ones are 1.35kg x £2.44 = £3.30 and the large ones are 2kg x £2.40 = £4.80. So, not only are they cheaper per kilogram, but also anything over the minimum weight is free. Edit: Our large chicken weighed 2.1kg.

If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)
