OS daily, Saturday 25th April

O/S Daily Saturday 25th April 2015

This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!

As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or SLOW internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” is fine

  • Morning, (((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one, especially Elona and family at this very difficult time for them.

Sun shining and quite a breeze, rain forecast for lunchtime, so need to get the towels out and cut the back grass before it comes. Also need to do yesterdays clean, has not been properly done for 3 weeks!!

OH seems to be back to for him, normal, we will see. He does seem more settled since we went to look round the complex on Wednesday. Time will tell. We have been this way before. Just hope this time he is more settled.

Right offsky to get the jobs done...............

Woke up early and made breakfast for two younger DDs and me then later for older DD and her husband.

Dishwasher is on and I have gone online banking and paid for the wedding blessing etc.

Going to treat everyone to a bite to eat in York then go to hospital later to see DH and let DD quiz staff for medical details I did not take in yesterday.

Phoned a few relatives last night to let them know and in limbo right now hoping I have misunderstood what I have been told.

Thanks to everyone and take care.

    Hugs

  • Good morning

Thank you csarina for starting today's thread.

Much cooler here and overcast. Don't need to go out today so a quiet day at home

ELONA I am glad you managed some rest and you have fed the troops:)

DD will know what to ask and digest the answers and if you think of anything write it down. It is good you are able to try to carry on with some sort of normality. DH will be pleased to see you this afternoon and I hope he is comfortable. Sending you all love and hugs.
