New round race track or similar - Beds/Bucks/Herts area?
Not money saving but intrigued me. Flew to Birmingham Airport from Spain earlier this week, sky was really clear :T. We came over Hayling Island and then I stopped looking

When I looked again there was a big motorway with a large, round structure to the right. I worked out further north we were following the M1 - I recognised it at Northampton, J15, so this structure was to the south east of there, I'm guessing around Bedford area but could have been further south.
The structure was perfectly round, seemed 'new', with 'stuff' in the middle of it. Reminded me of Rockingham Speedway with the internal infrastructure but like I say it was round.
Any ideas folks?
