Have i been scammed by private parking appeals?

I paid my money to them last week for a private ticket and they have not replied. Now i read on their website they are not taking new business. I cannot get hold of them at all.

Have i been scammed?, how do i get my money back?

No you haven't been scammed. They've just suspended taking new business until they've digested the implications of yesterday's Court of Appeal judgment.

Their statement says this, so I suggest you just wait for them to get around to you:

If you have already sent your case to us, and paid the fee, don’t worry, we will deal with all outstanding paid cases in order of deadline priority. We advise you not to pay the charge, until we can advise you further and look into the other legal aspects of your case.

I am sure they will get back yo you at some point in the near future, some of them may see this thread and send you a pm, or they may look for your submission and payment

someone just told me on facebook that i should contact paypal and they will refund me if dispute the transaction thing, i will then get my money back, so gunna do that

one week? takes longer than that to get an answer from BT/talk talk/bank etc etc etc


you chose to use them instead of asking for help on here , PLEASE don,t come back making a new post in a few days asking for help ,

I would advise you to hangfire, you were lucky enough to get in before they took the sensible decision not to take on further business following yesterday's bizarre court ruling. Therefore they will honour their commitment to you, if your appeal doesn't win they will refund your money.
