                    Hi
Hopefully an easy one for somebody to answer for me;
I had a default on my credit file that dropped off in Feb 2015. This was related to a disputed debt that still remains, however not on my credit file. When it comes to a lender doing a 'search', is it merely a search of my credit file or will they still have access (somehow) to my default?
My point being if they can't see it, I don't want to declare it.
NB The default amount is around £100.
Thanks in advance.

            Don't do your mortgage with a lender in the same group as the defaulted account, if it was indeed such a product.I am a mortgage broker.
