New business-partner mortgage

Hi
Until a few weeks ago I was a regular employee, but I have recently been made a partner in the family business. The business has accounts for 20 years, but I don't. Are there any mortgage providers who will lend to me?
Unfortunately, I checked with London & Country before quitting my job, and it now appears that they have given me bad advice, otherwise I wouldn't have quit till I had moved house
Thanks

Can only suggest finding and appointing a broker.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This will be very tricky.
I think you really do need a broker - I think this will come down to deposit. I cant see you getting far with a 5-10% deposit but maybe at 20-25% there are probably lenders who would take a look at it. I cant think of any off the top of my head but somtimes some of the more quirky lenders will consider it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. A little lateral thinking is required and this shouldn't be a problem.0

Thanks for the messages. I tried a couple of brokers, none of whom thought my income was mortgageable. We could perhaps have used only my husband's income for the mortgage, but this will leave us a bit short of what we want. Unless anyone can suggest a broker who can do this, I'm going to wait at least until next year.
Thanks again0 -
What percentage shareholding do you have in the business?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
