I know I have a Library Fine to pay as I couldnt get there at the weekend as it was my birthday and was entertaining friends at a BBQ. I feel well enough to venture outdoors today so will return this and probally face a £1.50 fine

Apart from this I intend on spending nothing and long may it continue

Do your library not do renewals online? Might be worth enquiring when you go.

I have youth club today so probably end up in the tuck shop to get through the session!
  • Stupidly promised my son and his friends that I would take them to Drayton Manor tomorrow (250 mile round trip) they have all paid for their own tickets but i forgot to factor in the petrol I need to get us there and back. So filling the car up is going to cost me £40 give or take a few £'s :(

And I'm pleased to say that I've not bought a book since Harry Potter, which in true MSE :money: way I waited until it came out to take advantage of the price war!! :T

    lets keep it low!

£4.80 in Somerfield on some essential Slimming World bits. I can see this is going to get expensive!

Just made the mistake of blowing £2-50 in the crappy canteen :o I decided I'd eat there on a wed as I don't get a dinner until late as I'm out after work. Bad idea ... Today was macaroni and cheese... yum I thought... but no it tasted (and I use the term VERY loosely) of onion  and nothing else. How is it possible to get mac and cheese wrong? Even I can manage that one ok and I really can't cook :rotfl:

Will prob end up buying something crappy for tea instead now ........

    NSD for me,
collegue gave me her lunch cos she went to the bakery (my purse left at home again), also off to Granma's for dinner so I can add an extra day to my meal plan!

Got a letter from Abbey today, they have charged me £20 for taking away my overdraft in July without warning! It doesn't come out til 24th so I think I'll shout at them! See if I can get it back!

  • I've been really good today. Had to shop, but only bought £7.80 worth of food, so that came out of the grocery budget, so I can count another NSD for this challenge! I was very tempted to get a bottle of cider, but no it's not needed.....well maybe it is, but I can't afford it.

Hi all - spent £1.04 on postage and £2.20 for 2 coffees whilst having a wander round the market in town. Also spent £8 on food but this is budgeted for, as was filling my petrol tank up - so a total of £3.24 today
    Have nice evenings all x

I spent £1.90 today, but then locked my purse in the safe at work. Broke the lock key (half in / out of the safe lock) and locksmith can't do a thing until he has a new barrel / shaft thingy to replace it with - so I'm going to have lots of NSDs until I get my purse back!
