Hi
I am currently in the process of selling out property, I believe the buyers mortgage is with Nationwide, they valued our house last Thursday, and we have not heard anything back, our Estate Agent is apparently chasing this up.
Is this normal to be waiting for a week after a valuation for an approval ?
Just getting nervous as buying a new build and have 28 days to exchange, and thats 5 days away... And thats the only thing outstanding, as my mortgage is at Quality Check stage with the halifax after our new build was Valued on Tuesday.
Many thanks in deviance for any advice given.

Yes it's is normal.
You cannot second guess what is actually happening with your buyers mortgage however much you would like to.
The vast majority of cases run through after successful valuation.I am a Mortgage Broker
