    how and why did you rack up £35,000 in cc debt? How will you ensure that this will not happen again once you have paid the cards of with your secured loan?

    You really need to post an SOA as others have advised in order to get the best advice on here. What you are considering could have serious financial implications for you and your future. Make sure that you get the decision right. There may well be other options for you.

    OP can't live within their means.
