Bill issue

Hi all

Can I include on the bankruptcy forms bills that I want to pay in the nearest future? For example I know I will pay for my TV licence and content insurance next month for the first time and I know it will cost me 20. Can I include it on the form before I set up an account for TV licence and insurance? I need to know as if I don't include it then when it comes to pay that bill I won't have enough money, but then from the other side I am not sure if I can include bills that I'm not paying but want to and I will have receipts etc for this. Any advice? I 'm going to court next week and bills will pay from next month once I sort out money issue.

    Hi,

If you mean can you include it as an on-going (upcoming) expense in your income and expenditure, then yes you can.
If you're thinking can you include them as a future debt then no you can't (not this type of debt anyway)

Do you mean can you include a regular expense on your SOA that you haven't started to pay yet - then as DD says - yes you can as long as the OR agrees they are reasonable expenses - which a TV license and contents insurance probably are.
